Free Software Tools

This Thesis has been developed using exclusively Free Software tools. In particular, we have used:

• Text editing: L^ATEX and LYX for the final document and Emacs for auxiliary tasks and bibtex editing
• Vector Graphics: Dia
• UML Graphics: Umbrello and Dia
• Other Graphics: the GIMP
• Version control: CVS and LinCVS
• Operating System: GNU/Linux
